Back in the day there was once a nightclub called the SHIREHORSE in St.Ives. It didn't look like much from the outside, but on the inside it was a different story!
The early 90's was a time of recession, job losses and grunge/rock music. Dance music blasted on to the scene and became the rebel child of music, sweeping everyone up in its path along its musical journey of peace love and happiness!
Each and every weekend THE SHIRE played host to the masses who came in their droves to listen to music that couldn't be heard anywhere else; and that music was HOUSE!
"Back to love" Promotions is bringing this love back for one night only at the hottest venue in the south west THE SANDSIFTER. Featuring some of the original shire resident dj's ( some even coming out of retirement! ), they will be spinning the classic 91-97 House and Garge that's are gonna raise the roof.
So dig out your dungarees, whistles, white gloves and glow sticks and come on down for what promises to be one of the best nights of 2008!!!
