Mevagissey
Like Penzance (Golowan), Camborne (Trevithick Day), Helston (Flora Day) and most other towns and villages in Cornwall, Mevagissey has a communal celebration once a year, theirs being 'Feast Week', taking place at the end of June, which is a carnival of dancing, eating, partying and drinking.
Mevagissey has several hotels, many art galleries, cafes, pubs, fish restaurants, and of course plenty of fish and chip shops!
